Position is in a proteomics laboratory that performs critical collaborative projects with many academic research labs. Most of the work involves fastidious and detailed analysis of large amount of data in support of proteomics research using specialized mass spectrometry software, MS Excel, and other data analysis software. Candidates should be comfortable with extensive use of MS Excel running under MS Windows, and willing to learn mass spectrometry software and other data analysis software. The candidate will report to the lab director, and occasional other duties include record keeping, ordering lab supplies, and laboratory work in protein chemistry using gel electrophoresis and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry.

Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant:
Bachelor`s degree in biological or any of the life sciences, biochemistry, computational biology or related field required.
Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the MS Windows operating system. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills are also essential for this position.
